Joseph

Joseph, a young man from the community around TIA Foundation in Bulondo, lives with a disability that had left him without proper mobility. Through a Facebook fundraiser, friends and supporters came together to fund a new wheelchair for him. What followed was an adventure in itself — coordinating logistics, meeting Joseph and his family, and finally handing over the chair. The joy on that day is something we still talk about.

TIA Foundation

TIA Foundation, led by Pastor Tia in Bulondo, cares for around ten orphaned children — housing, schooling, and feeding them with the help of an adjoining garden. Zorg Foundation works closely alongside TIA: our most recent contribution was a new cooking stove, alongside five outreach days filled with meals, games, dancing, and small donations toward repairing the building's walls. It's one of our steadiest, most trusted partnerships.

Gapro

โ€‹During one visit, we met a remarkable woman Prossy— a fellow Baháสผí — running Gapro, a small vocational project for vulnerable women. What she's built with very little deserves far more attention than it currently gets. While plans for a shared tailoring workshop are being developed, we wanted to use our platform to put her work in the spotlight.
